Itinerary Map

Day 1
Kolkata / Mayapur Embark (L/D)

Early morning drive from Kolkata to Mayapur by road (approx. 5-hrs drive depending upon road traffic conditions). Welcome onboard followed by a safety briefing and lunch. 

Late afternoon, proceed to explore Mayapur, the headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The new temple built to commemorate the Jubilee year of ISKCON in 2016 and largely funded by Alfred B. Ford, the great grandson of car-maker Henry Ford, can be compared to the Vatican.

Day 2
Mayapur – Guptipara – Fulia (B/L/D)

This morning a short sail brings us to Guptipara, a rural town, renowned for its paddy fields. Explore the town visiting the Vaishnav temples that contain some fantastic terracotta works. Visit a Potter’s home to see and interact with the artisans creating various clay items. 

In the afternoon, we sail across to the opposite riverbank and visit the weaving village of Fulia that specializes in a combination of Jacquard and Jamdani Saree Weaving.

Day 3
Fulia – Chandernagore – Serampore – Kolkata (B/L/D)

Today we sail to Chandernagore, which was established as a French colony in 1673. In the afternoon, explore the French colonial buildings walking along the promenade, including the former French governor's residence, now converted into a Museum. Also visit the Sacred Heart Church.

Return to the ship and sail to Kolkata en route visiting Serampore, an erstwhile Danish colony. Enjoy a walk in the old quarters to see the St. Olav's Church and other Danish heritage monuments. Continue sail to Kolkata and moor for the night. Evening farewell dinner.

Day 4
Kolkata Disembarkation (B)

Disembark the ship after breakfast and transfer to the airport or hotel for your onward journey.
